FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can donate blood?

Anyone between 18-65 years, weighing at least 45 kg, and in good health can donate blood. You should not have donated in the last 90 days.

Is Just Blood a blood bank?

No. Just Blood is a platform that connects donors with those in need. We do not collect, store, or transport blood.

How does the donor matching work?

When someone creates a blood request, we notify registered donors in the area with matching blood groups. Donors can then choose to respond and help.

Is my information safe?

Yes. We only share your basic profile (name, blood group, city) with others. Your phone number is shared only when you respond to a request.

How often can I donate?

Whole blood can be donated every 90 days (approximately 3 months). Platelet donation can be done more frequently - consult your doctor.

Do I get paid for donating?

No. Just Blood promotes voluntary, unpaid blood donation. Selling blood is discouraged.
